Re: online dispute

I wouldn't, it limits what you can do.

Do all disputes in writing via CMRRR.

Re: online dispute

I would never, ever file any dispute wth a CRA on-line. EVER.

And here is why.

The dispute process under FCRA 611(a) requires, under 611(a)(2)(B). that the the CRA must forward "all relevant information regarding the dispute"  to the crediitor.  If you file on-line, it limits the supporting documention you can provide.

Do it , in writing, with full initial documentation.

Re: online dispute

Depends what the dispute is.  If you have documentation, then do it in writing.

Re: online dispute

also want to add that disputing something that is yours, and you know it is, but you want to blindly dispute everything to see what sticks and what doesn't can back fire on you.  Be very careful in doing this.  Also, if you dispute too much with the credit reporting agencies you will be flagged as such and your disputes can be dismissed.
