Hello everyone, I just recently made my last payment to PRA. I had been in a payment plan for about two years with them to pay off a collection. I was wondering how my score will change now that it has a zero balance, any ideas??
Paid and unpaid collections are scored the same by FICO, as a collections. There should be no increase in score for paying it off. It does sometimes happen if the account is showing in the accounts section of the report instead of the collections section.
