I am trying to improve my credit score asap. I saw four accounts that went to collection and paid off. Does anybody here have address so I can write GW letters. THank you

Are there none on your CR?  That is where you should send them.

annualcreditreport.com is the best way to get your reports from the CRAs for the most accurate reports. Everyone can pull their credit reports there free once a year. You can stagger which report you get when if you want to get each separately to spread it out. That is not a good way to get scores, unless you want FAKOs. Be sure to save your reports as pdfs because you WILL want to look at them later.

I honestly think it depends on the CSR you get.  Cap1 is a tough one all around, I've had luck with Macy's and the others I can't say.
