"Account Closed by Credit Grantor" - should I do anything about this account?

Hello and thanks in advance for your help.

I'm just now digging into my reports and I see this old installment account listed on my report:

Date Opened: March 2008

Status Date: Dec, 2008

Condition: Closed

Last Activity: Dec, 2008

Balance: $0

Status: Paid or paying as agreed

Late 30 Days: 0 times

Late 60 days: 0 times

Late 90 days: 0 times

Worst Delinquency: non reported

Remarks: Account closed by credit grantor

I honestly don't remember what this account is, I can't tell by the name.  The question is, should I try and do anything about this, my concern is the comment account closed by credit grantor, is that a negative thing?  If so, it appears this is older than 7years now.

No. Closed by grantor is not considered a derog.

You could call the creditor and request that they delete.

Is your current average age of accounts more or less than the age of this account?

The average age is more than this account.  If it's not hurting anything I'm just going to leave it be and focus on the negative stuff.
