I was reviewing my credit report, and in the comments section of my BoA secured card, it said "Account information disputed by consumer, meets FCRA requirements". What does this mean? I never filed a dispute against that (or any) TL. I recently disputed a fraudulent $50 charge on my card, but that shouldnt affect anything. What exactly does this mean?
thanks
Any time you dispute for anything collection or information it will said that and it will stay there.
It means a dispute was filed and resolved.
Meets FCRA requirments means the dispute was resolved by a finding of accuracy of the reportted info.
There is no lingering effect, as it is a resolved dispute.
