"Last Reported" on Non-paid CO

So, I have an unpaid CO from May 2009. It's for $500.

I was hoping to get an EE from TU for this (I know I was probably trying too early).

Prior to calling TU it listed the date "Last Reported" as Oct. 13, 2013.

After calling in, TU did it as a dispute (which is not what I wanted). I now see on my report that the "Last Reported" was changed to Oct 29, 2015.

Regardless, a few days later my credit dropped 60 points. I've really been trying to figure out why. That's when I discovered the difference in the "Last Reported" date.

Could the "Last Reported" date make that big of an impact to my score?

Re: "Last Reported" on Non-paid CO

UPDATE:

I just called TU and spoke to a supervisor. Even though it's not suppossed to come off until May, she agreed to remove it!

So, we'll see in a few days when TU updates if my score jumps back up (fingers crossed big time!!).
