Won't go into all the details, but I filed a dispute with Transunion on a FMC account showing as a negative. Current status says Account 30 Days Past Due Date, even though it was paid off in January of 2007. Looking back at old credit reports, I had one 30 day late in August of 2004. Current CR not showing any lates.
Dispute came back today as being complete, with the notation that my credit report "has been revised based on your investigation request".
I see nothing different on today's report compared with my pre-dispute reports.
I'm obviously missing something here, but I can't figure out what it is. Any thoughts?
