Re: rebuilding credit

Welcome. You have come to the right place for help. Have you gotten copies of your 3 reports from annualcreditreport yet? It is best to know what is on all 3 because they may differ. Post up the info on the collections without any personal info and you will get suggestions on the best methods of tackling them. Also, do you have any current open lines of credit? good luck.

Re: rebuilding credit

Yes I had my 3 reports and the only diffrence in them was at EQi had a couple of medical collections that did not show on the other two. And yes I do have a secure card from capital one since february this year and a unsecure one with a credit limit of 300 and a fingerhut account.

I've had success in the past by calling and arranging PFD.  Its always best if you allow them to send you a letter that verifies your conversation with them and of course mentions the PFD before you pay them.  I will say that I have paid a few small collections with a PFD verbal on the phone and they deleted as per the phone agreement.  I would still try to get a letter though before you paid.
