I am currently dealing with Central Financial Control on quite a few accounts. They will settle for a lesser amount, but will note it as settled when they update. Next time I settle with them I'm going to see if they will just report it as simply paid, not settled for a lesser amount. I did get Asset Acceptance to agree to that and paid them the settlement that they offered. I tried to get Asset Acceptance to agree to a PFD, but they refused. However, a couple of months after I paid it I sent them a GW letter asking them to delete, but they never responded. A couple of months later it disappeared from my CR.
