reopening a charged off secured credit card

hello everyone,

I paid off my secured cc of 1,000 that was charged off and I was wondering if there was any chance of getting the card reopened ?

Also my score dropped 17 pts after I paid the card off!

What bank was it for? They most likely will tell you to apply for it again. Was that your only card?

They should have applied it to your debt

Highly unlikely they will re-open, no one is known for doing this once an account reaches CO. If it had not updated in awhile the update to paid off is what has likely dropped your score. Now what you need to do is get 3 open revolvers to drive your Fico up. Welcome to the board OP
