Re: score stimulator

I thought it would be a crap shoot to figure it out.  I started ignoring the simulator and following the advice on the board.  The simulator made me too afraid to do anything.

Re: score stimulator

The simulator is a good ballpark for certain credit actions, but it seems unable to predict many credit actions, especially the more complex and distant they are. I don't trust it with predicting scores with new accounts, only with aging and utility paydowns.

Re: score stimulator

mcap1263 - thanks!

I just run small charges through my cc's once a month.  I hate all the fees w/ First Premier (GRRRR!) so I generally pay extra to cover the $6/mo so called membership-let-me-remind-you every-month-its-a-subprime-card-fee.  So it will report $0.  I know I should probably let something report but the cl is $250.

The pif probably made more of an impact because my limits are low.Smiley Tongue
