Yes, I've had this work for Victoria's Secret and Avenue on a MacBook Pro. I used Safari, which I don't use for anything else, and cleaned the entire history and cache before trying the shopping cart trick. It didn't work for me immediately. I think I had to get my scores into the mid-500s first.

First you need to make sure that have opted in for prescreened offers. I don't have that website handy, but you can probably google it.

Open Safari, click on the Safari menu, choose "Reset Safari." Keep all of the checkboxes and click "Reset." (I don't know if this step is entirely necessary, but it seems to help. Also make sure that all pop-up blockers are disabled.

Go to the store's website, shop, and add one or more items to your shopping cart. Click to checkout, either register or checkout as a guest (it has worked for me as a guest), and enter your name and address. Your name and address must match what is on your credit report. If the trick is going to work, you'll get the pop-up when you click continue. I don't think you have to go through with the purchase if you accept the card offer.

While I was walking through the steps to make sure I had them right, I got the pop-up for the Brylane Home card! I don't want any to accept now, but hopefully getting it to work once means it will work again in the future.
