shopping cart trick payoff

not sure how much this is going to help credit score but i am really looking forward to seeing it.

the shopping cart trick i did  a year ago with 3 stores just gave me my first increase. i totally forgot about the cards as i had them locked up. each of them gave me $250 when i first got them. i did buy a pair of socls from each store. blair increased to $800, Express went to $850 and heres the one i was totally shocked by...jcrew went to $4250 ;-)

anyone have any idea what kind of score jump i could be seeing?

only other cards i have is kohls $700 and cap one $1850..... no lates and there is few hundred balance left from christmas i'm paying down.

where you are likely to gain a few points is in the utilization category. Higher limits themselves do not translate to Fico points, what happens is your utilization percentage changes, you already have a low balance on cards so the immediate point rise is going to be muted. What higher limits means is you can revolve a greater balance if you need to without taking that big of a Fico hit. Grats on getting the CLIs Smiley Happy

Congrats on some Comenity CLI LUV!    My Blair (actually, Gold Violin; I chose that since I liked the design best) also started at $250.   On month 9 to the day, I got my first CLI to $550 and I've marched it up steadily ever since.   So they will grow with you.
