I sent a GW to EQ about my one 30 day late out of 22 months of on time payments. Got their reply today. Status: Updated. Do I qualify for a free credit report from EQ?

You sent a GW letter to EQ? As in Equifax? Or did you send one to a creditor?

thru Equifax. I sent off a bunch of GWs a while back and they are just now getting back with me. Just thought I might get a free lookiloo at my CR...

you can't send gw's to the CRA's. GW's are sent to the OC. CRA's can't remove lates only the OC can.

You should. They may even send you one in the mail. They always did me after a dispute and deletion.
But why did you send a GW to EQ? They have no control over what a creditor puts on your CR.
