Thanks so much for all the help and because of all the good advice I finally was able to get a derogatory account deleted. It took about 10 letters, many phone calls and finally got the BBB involved. They decided in my favor and First Merit is removing their trade line from my report. This was the longest drawn out mess I ever seen.
