Re: tax lien question

Hard to say.  I dont think that IRS reports directly to the CRAs, but every time a lien is filed, the taxing authority filing the lien must make the tax lien records available to the public. No one can be denied access to the federal tax lien records information.

There are private parties who scour public records to find reportable information.

So it is hard to predict eventual appearance in your CR.  If reported, the tax lien would remain in your CR for 7 yers from the date of payment.
