what inaccuracies are the CRA reporting that you dispute?

I havE read some posts of inaccurate reporting on CRAs. I was wondering what Some examples are ....may be in case I am missing something worth disputing..

from a quick search online, here are a few examples:

 

  • Payments reported late that were actually on time
  • Accounts that aren’t yours
  • Inaccurate credit limit/loan amount or account balance
  • Inaccurate creditor
  • Inaccurate account status, for example an account status reported as past due when the account is actually current

 

 

But it depends on what you're disputing.  If there is an account that's not yours, then dispute with the CRA.  But if the balance owed on an account is wrong, then I would send a direct dispute to the OC.
