when disputing with CRA

Do they remove that item off your credit report during the "investigation"  period?

It does not remove the TL.  In the notes section of the TL, it will show as "Disputed by customer" or something similar.

What does get removed is the amount owed in the calculation of UTIL. Like a CC amount due.
