I was wondering when a good time to apply for Credit would be? I am scared to apply and be rejected and having wasted a inq. I will have a year of no late payments this coming May, should i wait until then to apply? in the meant time pay down my credit card which i only owe 700 on? I have 1 secured card and one stupid Total card with a credit limit of $400 and i don't owe anything on that. I need some more credit to give some meat to my credit report but not sure when to apply...
