I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. Sometimes, we just can't help them, try as we might.
As to the neighbor, I did, in fact, call the police when Crazy Horse followed up with another phone call and voice message. I've not seen nor heard from CH since the astonishing wedding invitation (sent from his mother, whom I've never met nor heard of by the way, so he'd obviously padded my name on the guest list - Eeow).
The house seems occupied, but on a very low key level, if that makes sense. No one goes out in broad daylight to get the mail, take a walk, pick up leaves, etc. I still notice the trash and receptacle bins appearing/disappearing in the alley on schedule.The last of his 3 daughters moved out after the wedding, don't know what happened to the wife. No one visits them, including the daughters, etc.
For the most part, he's receded into the back of my mind, except when I drive past that house, or around now, which is nearly exactly 1 year since he first accosted me. Hope that's the end of him until he ups sticks for greener pastures.
