So my BF and I have been seriously talking about our future, buying a house, etc. He knows my obsession with myfico and everything credit related and has never really checked his scores or reports. I told him about the free trial here and warned him that even though he pays on time he may be surprised by his credit scores/what effects his scores. He got the 10 day free trial to find his score at about 740. Mind you this is higher than mine and he was sure to point out that he has achieved this effortlessly while I have an unnatural obsession with monitoring mine! Cut me some slack, I screwed up when I was young!! Lol. So anyway, I was very pleasantly surprised by this outcome and found it to be pretty darn funny. We're both rocking scores in the 700's, albeit I had to work a bit harder for mine.

Very nice. I'm currently trying to catch up to my DGF who is 800+. I had no clue either what my scores/reports were until we started dating and she made me take a long and hard look at my history with credit.

Now I get to brag that I have an AMEX and she doesn't.

The good news, you both are 700+, so you have a very bright future ahead!

Those are some great scores!!!!  You two should have no problem getting a home 

(The best part is, you know his credit BEFORE getting married LOL)

Thanks, guys! I am very glad we figured all this out sooner than later and that it was good news. I'd much rather be taking his teasing me right now than to have been right. Lol.
