Oil and gas prices are all about supply and demand.
The US consumes a lot of both, but what's hurting oil
and gas prices the most is a severe decrease in global demand.
That's why prices will probably continue to drop even if OPEC does cut
back on production.
The whole world is in recession right now. This explains why oil
has dropped from $150/barrel to under $50 a barrel in a
matter of months, and why gas is now under 2 bucks a gallon
at the pump almost nationwide here in the US.....
