Are credit cards the security blanket for adults?

I feel a lot of luv out there between the posters and their rectangular pals.

This. It's nice knowing that I have another layer to fall back on in case times get rough. I do have savings, but if I were to get really sick or something where I would be out of commission for awhile, I still have that reassurance that I could keep the bills paid for a little while until I could get back on my feet.

 

I hope that never happens, but life can be unpredictable.

I literally use mine as a blanket.  I make it rain in my bed before I go to sleep

I work in retail and I have regular customers who strictly use cash or debit. On a daily basis someone's card has been compromised and they have no other means to pay. I feel a lot better knowing that I have a choice. Call it what you want but at least the option is there!
