In fact, according to JD Power's 2014 Insurance Survey, Geico does not even reach the top ten in customer satisfaction, and rated them as "about average" in customer satisfaction across all categories, and even lower in some states. You would likely be much happier with a mutual company like Amica or Wawanesa, or if you qualify, USAA.
Compare pricing, because everyone's situation is different. And compare satisfaction ratings, because that will show you what happens when you actually need the insurance coverage. There's no point in paying extra, and no point in paying at all if they won't help you when you have a claim.
