Bruce Springsteen Comes out of the Closet

Capitalist that is.

I am not intending to be political but rather a comment on the music industry and how its changed over the years.

Re: Bruce Springsteen Comes out of the Closet

He has always been really involved in what's happening with his music. I remember lots of stories back in the '80's about people who weren't paying royalties for his songs, and his organization hunted them down pretty briskly!

His dad was a bus driver, and I once saw an interview where he talked about his mother having to go to loan sharks, then pay them off, then go back, round and round. Must have made an impact on him.

I've always thought it was interesting how many people have misinterpreted the message in "Born in the U.S.A."
