Does anyone know what happened? CCF redirects to creditcards.com now.

Bankrate owns creditcards.com, and must have either already owned CCF or recently bought it. Red Ventures purchased Bankrate earlier this month. Maybe Red Ventures closed CCF for being un/insufficiently profitable?

No idea. Probably shut down because the site traffic wasn't busy enough.

Could be. Some days were really active, but every now and then no one would post for a day or two.

I don't see any indication that the threads or articles are being merged into anything. It's just gone.

I think it's bizarre also.

The site had very very low traffic but likely costs $0 to run... I wonder what happened...

It and the boards of credit were my credit forum homes while I was out on leave.
