Thanks Stef. Yuk. I love Roma Tomatoes. Please wash thoroughly before consuming. Good lesson from mom. Always wash all fruit before eating it.

Oh yeah we always wash produce. I don't think this washes off though once it's contaminated.

I have lupus so this would certainly do a doozy on me. DH is a produce manager and this apparantly happened a couple of weeks or so ago too. He said they had to throw out all of the tomatoes and the only one's they have been getting in are the cherry. No larger tomatoes at all.

Thank goodness I have not been on a tomato binge lately! It will probably be some time before I will want to eat any now.

Oooh, that's scary. Looks like I won't be adding tomatoes to my Subway sandwiches for a little while.

Now McDonald's has pulled tomatoes from their food. I went to subway for lunch today, and they had a sign posted that they wouldn't be serving tomatoes either. I hope this ends soon! I would like some salsa!

Here in Florida, my local Chili's restaurant wasn't serving tomatoes today.

I went to a local Fuddruckers today and they weren't serving tomatoes either. Luckly I had some homegrown ones in my office and went quite well with my Southwest Burger.
