Chase Savings bonus

I see there is a $125 Chase Savings account bonus going on.

Open a new savings account. Deposit more than 10,000. Get 125 back in 10 days.

I also see people selling their promotional codes on ebay.

Is this legal? Can I actually buy someone else's promo code on ebay and use it?

I'm also curious as to why these people are selling their coupons for less than $10 instead of using it themselves.

Re: Chase Savings bonus

Im sure its legal in the eyes of the law - its just a coupon code created by a business, but it could be agaisnt Chases' terms.

I got the same coupon in the mail a couple months ago and I can tell you one good reason I didnt use it - I dont have $10,000 on hand Smiley Sad.
