Email hacked ?

All my email on my gmail account is gone does that mean I was hacked?

My login is still same

Didn't know if I needed to create a new email and change my bank account email address

I would change passwords on everything if I was you.  Sorry, did you have a backup?

Could it be a temporary glitch ?  How about activating 2-step sign in now with a new password ?

I just created a new email with 2 step and changed my online accounts to that address.

I did see that all my emails were in the trash can (about 2k). Don't know how that happened

At least you still have this and learned a lesson about changing your passwords, hopefully without any negative consequence.  I use outlook to back up my email and save a local copy on my hard drive.  That way I can't ever lose anything.  I have over 10gb of email saved but it's better this way, you can keep the archive and delete them from the server, that way the server never gets full and you get to keep everything.
