Fico Friends, May I Whine????

A few of you remember a few months ago, my ex-brother in law was indicted for trading internet child pornography????

He pled guilty to 32 counts.  He was caught up in a *ring* of 41.

His sentencing is May 11 @ 10:00.  I spoke to the Asst. Prosecutor today.  This TURD has the luck to have drawn a judge who is VERY LENIENT on crime.  Most of the perps who have been sentenced have received an average of FIVE YEARS.  If he gets probation, I am going to FLIP OUT.

It's up to the Judge's discretion how she wants to play this.  I'm thoroughly disgusted.

As a father of two young daughters I would be outraged. We as parents are the protectors of our children and people like this who could potentially get only a slap on the wrist is a travesty. Who do children have in this world to protect them if criminals are allowed to prey on their innecence? Remember judges are ellected, start a campaign to oust this judge if she doesn't drop the hammer. Just my opinion.

I'm sorry for your family even if he is an ex bil.  Hopefully this judge will have a moment of clarity and hand him an appropriate sentence. Crimes against children and those who commit them are the worst of the worst.

That's not called "whining" it's called "common sense." "Intelligence." "Morality."

I'm with Diz ... get that moron (if she lets him off with anything less than 10+) out of office. Spread the word. Tell everyone with a pulse at your grocery store, mall, office, post office, etc. AKA, every where you go, make sure you mention this.

Nowadays, in these stressful times, no ONE likes politicians who are soft on crime. NO ONE.

On a personal note (ranting done), I am VERY sorry you're going through this. And I know that even if he's locked up forever, it won't be much aside from closure for you. But at the least, you deserve that closure. I really, really, really, really, REALLY hope you get it. In spades.

Thanks guys!!!  A few years ago this particular Judge threw out a case of a rapist who raped a little girl.  The Prosecutor was *late* to court because he was filing a brief.

She was *outraged* that he had the audacity to be late and completely tossed the case out.  Larry King interviewed her, she's ridiculous.

If she goes soft on him, I'm starting a huge campaign to get rid of her. 

I spoke to the Asst. Prosecutor yesterday, he emailed me a 17 page indictment, but I can't open it!!!!!  Grrrrrr

He STILL has custody of his 15 year old son.  This IDIOT has refused to send his clothing to my sisters when he goes to live with her.  It's ok, we will replace the clothing, but this is the MENTALITY of a Father?????  I don't get it.

Ooooh. Yeah. That's a *WONDERFUL* reason to let a child-rapist out on the streets. I mean, if you had to choose between gracefully chastising an atty for being late and continuing on with the traial or sacrificing another child, what would *you* choose?! o_O

Actually, unless shes tosses the book at him (or inserts it into an uncomfy, unmentionable orifice), I'd campaign to get rid of her anyway. Sounds like she's a moron. At the *very* least, she doesn't care about her constituents' safety.

I use Acrobat a LOT. In fact, I was using that bad-boy long before it became standard! I might know how to help you ....
