At first glance, I thought this was satire. Then I read on.

There are 46 comments discussing... wait for it.... gardening.

I'm still new to this, but I have a question. How many of you "In The Garden", are actually physically outside gardening?

I was certain this was a euphemism.

It is a common advice that is given out in the personal financial realm. The idea is saving money on the cost of groceries, vegetables, etc. I think it is unrealistic for many people, especially us apartment dwellers. But if I had a home I would start a garden in a heartbeat.
