Google Wallet & Credit cards

I know that Apple Pay is much more talked about than Google Wallet, even though Wallet Tap and Pay has been around for years now.  One of the "cons/rumors" that many anti-Google folks have been spewing about regarding Google Wallet is that it will prevent you from getting points with credit cards --- whereas Apple Pay and points work just fine.

Well, it's definitely not true.  I've started using Google Wallet at various fast food joints and retailers like Disney, and you definitely earn points the same as if you were to swipe your card.   The only thing you'd notice is that your statement will include the Google NFC nomenclature prefix and say "GOOGNFC*Mcdonalds" or "GOOGNFC*Disney"
