How do you guys feel about debit cards?

I have, in the past, had my bank account compromised.  I am extremely reticent to use my debit card, as such.  I prefer credit cards because of the fraud protection features they have. 

I am in the process of converting to using credit cards exclusively, and when I do, I'll request a new debit card number to be safe.  It won't go in my wallet. 

I use online bill pay through my bank for the purposes of paying credit cards.

I actually sock drawer my debit card. It has only seen the swipe of a Chase ATM for deposits. Now that I know chase will let me deposit with just my drivers licenses and my PIN number it is going to stay sock drawer. Debit cards offer no protection vs my CC's
