I am 29. I got my first credit card from wells fargo in 2002 at the age of 18. That card didnt last long.  Aside from a short sub prime card I had from 07-08, I started reusing credit cards in 2010 and really really using them to my benefit in 2012.

I'm 26, and like you, I got my first CC (Wells Fargo) at 18 when I opened my WF checking account.

It's a darn good thing they just gave it to me without my asking. Got my foot in the door as far as credit goes. Still have the card, always will.
