I'd be 36 in November.  Getting too old, never owned a home .... hopefully in 18months after paying off my car and some bills (in collection)

Thank you for the encouragement, marty.  Am I on a race for time here?  I figure when home prices go up again, in like 2 or 3 years, then I am really going to lose my chance.
