Its a forum people. Just saying. Sometime we get great advice and other times we don't. Its like going to a doctor. I have been in my field for over 18 + years. I'm sometimes right and sometime wrong. We are not perfect. Go with your instinct and other posters on the forum. All input helps us all !!!!!. Knowledge is power.

I have to agree to some extent

I'm not directing it anybody in particular, but I have sometimes wondered if I'm on a board for discussing credit, or stumbled into a kindergarten class.

Plus you can "Ignore" those who you don't want to see.  Not sure how this feature works because I've never had to use it. But it's an option....

I personally believe that LS2982 could post 100% a week should he wish to do so.

If a MOD on this site has a problem with that, then maybe it’s time for FICO

Management to step in and remove the MOD.

Add this to the list of forums with way too much drama. I've seen people get too much self worth from playing online games like WOW or getting too absorbed in forums or just online in general while neglecting the rest of their lives. If you want to leave then just leave....I don't see the reason to make a post about it...Only draws more drama.

@jjsten: I haven't been here that long, but I realized early on not to read all the approvals threads because they just contain endless "Congrats!" and "+1" which I, like you, find useless. I don't come here for moral support, but I can understand why many others do. If you don't wish to partake, then don't. That's the beauty of a free world.

@LS: It's time to take a break, but for practical reasons. You fixed your credit, got into primeville...now live your life. Spending inordinate amounts of time on this site will only result in more apps. You need to forget about your FICO score for a while and pick up a different hobby. You got your financial house in order, now step outside and enjoy the sun. Come back in a year, and share your success with everyone so that legions more can be encouraged.
