the whole situation is just so sad. This reminds me of a very similar situation that happened in my family. It changed us all forever, and we are still trying to get over it 14 years later.

my prayers are with her and her family. may they have a more speedy recovery than my family had.

I read that this morning. I just can't even begin to imagine how evil someone has to be to hurt a child. It sickens me. This whole thing is so very sad.
