Making an investment decision. Need opinion on Mortgages and Fed rates.

Do you think the Feds will keep rates lower for the next 6 months to keeps mortgage rates lower? This will help me make my decision. Thanks

If I knew the answer to your question, I could become very wealthy by this time next year, but I don't and I very much doubt the Fed themselves know. At present I am being very careful, trying to manage my affairs such that I need not care what the Fed does.

Also, the Mortgage rate does not always follow the Prime Rate - for example, it has not over the last year!  The recent drops in the MR are due to the bail out of Fannie and Freddie.

But to find a graceful way of staying slid

I expect mortage rates to continue to drop though the election until the begining of the year-

If you look at my previous predictions on this site- I think I am hitting 100%

I am getting ready to re-fi myself if I can get in under the rate I want.
