Marriage = 2x sign-up bonuses?

I loathe the idea of companionship, but should I get married so I can reap the travel/points rewards? My future wife (whoever the hell that would be) and I could add each other as AUs, and each app for the same cards, therefore getting me twice the bonuses.
Thoughts?

If ever there was a reason NOT to get married - and you sound like you are really ready for the commitment - its reward points for credit card usage.

Yes, you can AU each other, but you can also open accounts under each of your names and transfer the points to a joint account.

We'll let the lawyers decide who gets custody of the reward points during the divorce battle.
