Need some help in choosing a nice watch. Currently use the one prescribed by the air force for aviators.
I just need something nice to wear when I go out. Something stylish and hip but professional.
I'm in my early 30's and budget is around $350

I currently wear a Citizen Titanium.
It's a nice cross between casual and professional. It's not flashy at all, but still looks really nice.
I'm pretty sure that's under your budget you posted there. Not sure.

Wish I could help but I haven't worn a watch in many years. I use my cell phone for checking time.
But I hope someone can recommend something nice.

I have to second the Citizen brand. My boyfriend had an eco-drive one for 7-8 years before he finally cracked the face of it. Other than the crack, it still looked like a brand new watch. I got him a new one for his birthday last year - he loves it. I actually considered getting one for myself earlier this year but ended up falling in love with a Bulova one that was on sale ![]()

There's a forum for many brands of watches that's been an enormously helpful resource to me:

What about a vintage Hamilton? That would be right about the price range. Nothing says classy like a 60s art deco watch. With the popularity of things like mad men, they are very much hip. Why wear the same metal citizen etc. when u could be truly unique.

I have a few Burberry watches and an Emporio Armani in my watch stable. Both should be just a little above the price range you are looking for.
