So as the subject says, just curious on how many CC apps you all have applied for in 1 WEEK.
20, give or take a couple.

Also interested in how that "20" worked out.
I think the most I did in one week was about 10, probably 50/50 approve versus decline.
I would like to have my husband seriously app spree after the house closes, now that his sears card sucks he does need one normal revolver. But, he has so many inquiries from the mortgage and car loan! He's only had three credit card inquiries in the last two years, but something crazy like 12 mortgage inquries.

Seriously, id love to know what cards you app'd for and what you were approved/denied for
I apped for about 20-25 over the course of a day or two (weekend). How'd it work out?
Well, I caught on to the fact that GEMB was about the only one approving me so about half of them were GEMB-owned... JC Penny, Walmart, Paypal, Amazon, Old Navy, etc... got a lot of them.
Then about a week later they canceled 'em all due to too many inquiries. I was left with nothin' but a Hooter's card, an Exxon card that doesn't have any Exxon stations around here, and a Kohl's card.
Lesson learned.

Yikes! That's what I was afraid of after I app'd for 10.

In my early, not-so-smart-credit-days and before finding you guys, I recall applying for two auto refis, a Tempeurpedic mattress (forgot who underwrites it), a Hewlett-Packard computer account, and a Gateway account all in the last week of July, 2007. I was denied for all.
About a week later after the denials came in, I got mad, and remember clear as day, but my ego got the best of me. I sat down at the computer and applied for anything and everything. I clearly remember applying for Discover, a couple of Chase CCs, a couple of Citis, First National Bank of Omaha, a couple of Amex's, BofA, Commerce Bank (pre-TD), Wachovia (pre-WF), Diners Club, WaMu, GE Capital, CapOne, Merrill Lynch Visa, Target, JC Penneys, Geico (Merrick Bank), and US Bank. I was denied for every single one and I still have the denial letters to this very day.
I came to a realization that my credit stunk and I needed to figure out why and how I can improve things. Eventually someone on another forum suggested I come here. Pulled my scores and EX FICO was 545, TU FICO was 524, and EQ FICO was 548. Between these apps, and some prior and new ones in my early days of establishing credit, I had approx 30 inquiries each on EQ and EX with less than 10 on TU.
2.
Discover and then AMEX BCE.
Approved for both
Just 2. There's no 0 after the 2.
Ilecs, you crazy. But, I guess had you not applied for 20, you probably wouldn't have found this forum.
