Ped hit car!

Was at a stand still in traffic and a teen/young adult came running across four lanes of traffic.  The lane to my right was the turn lane and pretty much was moving.  The kid just ran into the lane - hit a moving car - went airborne for a second - landed on the car (he hit the driver side back seat and landed on the driver side trunk) - bounced off - staggered - then took off running (more like stumbling) again!

The driver stopped.  I am sure he had no idea what happened since he was in the front seat and the kid hit the back seat, then the trunk.  Kid just took off.  I know that kid had to be hurting...never saw anyone chasing him.  Drive drove forward and stopped a second time.  Kid was gone.

A bit freaky.

Similar thing happened to DW. A moped ran into her minivan. The guy was hurting pretty bad and she grabs the phone to call for help. The guy says "no, no" and puts the pieces of his moped in his bag and sped off.

   I did word it kinda funny when I think about it now. She took a photo and it was 2-3 pieces a foot or less. Part of a front fender included.
