Places to avoid if you don't want to sign back of card

I hate signing the back of my cards, but the reps at these places always force me:

(1) Casinos

(2) USPS

Add to the list of places to avoid if you have a sweet credit card you don't want to mark up >>>

It always smudges and ends up looking like crap.

Re: Places to avoid if you don't want to sign back of card

Part of everyone's card holder agreement says your card isn't valid until signed and the stores agreement with the cc companies tell them they have to force you to sign it in their presence, and compare it to a valid government ID if you want to use it.

None of my credit or debit cards are signed.
They don't even check the card at all at most places.

Some cards I've checked have "see ID" written on them.

Visa and MasterCard tell places not to accept cards that have this on them. If a clark wanted to, they could refuse it.

+1. See ID is too problematic in many cases, and it violates the Visa/MC T&C. I'd rather sign and use as intended.
