Re: Prayers to Boston

Bostonian checking in.  Today was pretty nuts.  Thankfully police, fire, EMTs, volunteers, and people just standing by responded EXTREMELY fast.  So grateful all of those people were already on the scene when this happened.

Re: Prayers to Boston

Yes, this whole thing is just INSANE!

But I just read something today that made me rethink about letting the terrorists win.

"Whenever you see or hear about some horrible event, look for the helpers!  There will always be helpers. Whenever there is a disaster or something horrible, there is always someone who rises to the top and reaches out to help those in need!  Think about their bravery and sacrifice and willingness to lend a hand.  Don't concentrate on the tragedy of the event but on the uplifting of the human spirits in those who rise above the worst." -- my paraphrase.
