I don't think it's bragging. It's not that easy to get in with Amex, and it's an achievement in credit management. You've earned the right to talk about it and feel good about it.
I think bragging has more of a negative connotation like when you go on and on about it to make others feel like less than. Not the same as just mentioning that you feel good about a valid achievement.
