Question for someone who lives in Miami, FL

I'm moving to Miami August 16th and want to convert my driver's license.   Where is the nearest DMV location near the FIU campus?  Also, I'm moving the same month my current state's car tag expires.  Should I renew my tag in my current state before leaving or get a tag in Miami?  Thanks in advance.

I've found it very useful  for getting info on  the city I'm retiring in.

I've even seen the links to the local MLS website in the city I'm moving to.

Not sure about Miami, though.
