Ok. 2 months ago I called and ordered a 30 yard roll off so we could clean out our basement, ect. I used a prepaid Greendot Visa over the phone and paid $496.00 upfront.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. I get a bill saying I went over the allowed tons and owed $99.00. No biggie, I told woman I would mail check within The week.
within the week they attached the card for 67Cents, 22.95 & 17cents. My son uses this card to buy off ebay and adds money daily (he's 16). I will not allow him to use my cards on net. (Had info stolen once and once was enough)
My question is... I NEVER gave them permission to continually debit card. It was a one time purchase.So is this legal? And how do they know the balance to keep taking exactly whats on card?
Ill called greendot but, customer service there is AWFUL! I could barely understand what the man was saying.
I did get them to cancel card and reissue one for free.
