Re: Radar cards?

None.  A new car loan down the road is the only thing I see in the future.  I don't need to every apply for a credit card again.  I have more than enough for my needs.

Re: Radar cards?

CSP for the combo. Hilton Hhonors (not sure which one). It will be a year though. I need to age these 5 new accounts, and pay down my CC debt. Also want to get some APR reductions and CLI's along the way.

Re: Radar cards?

CSP in October/November.

That's it.

At this point, my BoA card is worthless and my AMEX is getting no play other than groceries (as of today) on off-quarter months from the Freedom.

Don't really need any new cards other than the CSP.

Re: Radar cards?

BCE (maybe P if I am lucky) and maybe a Chase card next year after June.

Before June of next year... maybe a USAA card, which one?  /shrug

BCE and BCP most likly have the same reqirements. i would like a CSP(hopefully still maetel) or discover. i would like to add one more major card to my profile and get rid of some. my number is 5 cards no more then that

Re: Radar cards?

I have 20 cards right now, I need 33 more so I can play solitaire and still have a joker in my deck (joker is reserved for Cap1).  Well it will be 20 when I get my 4 cards I was approved for last week Smiley Happy

Oh I will start dumping some of them, when I start having problems getting cards from good companies (to be more serious).

Just now trying to build up some history with AMEX, got approved for the Zync last week.  I am willing to bet that if I can get the Zync to NPSL and have my fico above 725 that I should have no problem getting a BC card of some kind.  That is as long as the inqs are over 1 year old.  Thus my goal is next summer.  It might be hard to get my Zync to NPSL though, new apt has all utilities included.  Since I really do not spend much money every month, it will be hard to accelerate spending in a way to show AMEX that I deserve such an increase.  Time will tell though Smiley Happy

Re: Radar cards?

Next year, Jan 2013, I am going for the Chase Sapphire preferred. Will cancel my United card after that and just have two cards. Between the discover more and CSP that will be all the rewards I will ever need.

Thinking about getting the BoA 1-2-3 card and only using it for gas, and it can be a backup for my CSP when traveling internationally but I am in no hurry for that card. My biggest fear would be traveling to europe and Chase putting a fraud alert on my account and locking it for "suspicious activity in europe" and I will need a backup, although I guess there is an equal, or perhaps greater, chance of BoA doing the same thing even if I notify Chase and BoA of travel, so meh, maybe a backup card isn't that important.

Re: Radar cards?

@ pih,

Why would you need 20 cards?

Only asking because it's the Smorgasboard. Smiley Happy
