Side work for extra $$$

Hey everybody,

I usually work on computers on the side for extra $$, but a couple of my buddies want me to help them with their credit reports, and are willing to pay me & it got me thinking. Do any of you do this as a part-time gig?

 If so, what kind of issues do you run into?

My suggestions include getting a limited power of attorney (that gives you the authority to talk to their creditors, if things go that far) and to have a contract in writing that covers what you will be paid, how you will be paid, and what work you will do.  Is it set by time?  Acheivement?
