I'm spending a lot of play time with my 3-year-old daughter. I'm leaving for Chicago on June 24th for a business conference.

I doubt that I will leave the hotel until early Tuesday morning when I go home  Smiley Sad
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Eye Appt today with retina specialist...find out how I'm doing post-op.  Off to pick up prescriptions after that.  I'll (hopefully) take a little nap, eat dinner and read a bit.

Yard-work is finished for the next few days.

Tomorrow is a 14 hr work day for me.

Don't know where you are in California, but not only hot, smoker than all get out in the Sacramento area.  Feel the asthma kicking up.  Lots of fires, very, very scary, I live in a subdivision that was basically carved out of the forest.

I can't believe they are going to do an american version.  There is no way it will be better than the UK version.  The show I saw last night was the start of a new series and believe it or not, they had a BMW M3 get better gas mileage than a Toyota Prius!!!Smiley Very Happy

Ugh.  I hope not, but if true, I hope they do a better job than they did with the American version of 'Coupling'!!  Smiley Mad  That was dreadful.

Top Gear's great, even if I AM clueless about cars and usually have no idea what they're talking about when they get into the particulars. lol.

ETA:  Oops - and to stay on topic, I just finished pedaling to the store for my weekly groceries and will now be cooling off/rehydrating while watching a 'Cosmos' marathon on the Science Channel!!  Yippee!!!Smiley Very Happy  I love 'Cosmos'!

how disappointing. I don't understand why we insist on destroying perfectly good british television.
